Der Böglerhof – pure nature resort

The staff at your beautiful hotel is most certainly friendly and attentive! Having made my mother-in-law's birthday special and making all aspects of our stay memorable. Your rooms are a touch of freshness and room service ensured that we felt at home and relaxed. Your culinary skills are 5 star quality and once again VERY attentive staff. Very comfortable hotel we had a great family room. Alpach is a lovely village which we have been visiting for the last 6 years. This was our first stay in the Boglerhof and were very happy with it. Great location right by the bus stop to get to the lifts. Will definitely return.

Splendid ****s hotel, very well situated in the center of Alpbach. Personnel is very kind, rooms are just perfect. Everything is done to please the clients.

Rooms with a scent of pine, magnificent view of the mountain panorama, fabulous breakfast, be prepared for church bells to ring at 7 a.m.

Our stay at Hotel Böglerhof was phenomenal. Everything from our interactions with hotel staff, the spa, and our experience in the restaurant was exactly what we dreamed it would be. We fell in love with Hotel Böglerhof and cannot wait to return.

The best service experience. Listening to the guests needs. Whats define the site is willingness to look behind the protocol and do changes. For example I got special menu for the evening. Also the location is special in a nice village all nature around. Activities free of charge like hiking and yoga. The room was also nice with a terrace view. The downside is the sauna hours and the complicity of arranging specific hour and guests staying behind their time. This influence our enjoyment in the spa area. Guests also smokes in the terrace and we had to sufare that. We recommend to add conditioner we needed that. Gundi in the morning was very special.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at the Boglerhof; our first family visit to Alpbach and the hotel. It's difficult to know where to start with explaining what is wonderful about this hotel because they have got everything right. The staff on reception are very knowledgeable and speak perfect English. I contacted them for some Covid pre-travel advice by email and by phone and both times they couldn't have been more helpful. On arrival we were offered a complimentary drink in the bar (some delicious Austrian sparkling wine which easily rivalled a very good champagne), whilst we waited for our room to be ready. The ambience of the hotel is traditional yet with all modern conveniences. Our room, which was a junior suite, had a bedroom and a separate sleeping area in the sitting room for our son. The beds and bedding were so cosy and comfortable and I would have been very happy to spend my time lounging round the hotel and in the spa were we not on a skiing holiday. I admit that I was hoping for a bad weather day to give me the excuse I needed, but they even managed to get the weather to behave! The food, which was all part of our package was faultless and served with great care and consideration from the restaurant staff. Their knowledge of the wine list was also exceptional and we choose to drink Austrian wine all week which was outstanding. We had the same one or two staff allocated to our dining table for the whole week and they remembered our favourite wine choices and kept the unfinished bottles for the following meal. They were also incredibly good humoured and good fun; a real credit to the hotel. Our small group were there with tween-age children and they didn't mind if they dined off the adult menu or the kids menu which meant they could experiment with the more adventurous food without the risk of going hungry (not remotely possible in the Boglerhof anyway!). They loved the ice-cream buffet with all the Haribo and smartie sprinkles. I should add that there is the option for children to dine earlier if you choose to. The pool and spa area were a real treat and there weren't enough hours in the day to fit in the skiing, food and relaxation. To come back from the slopes, have a mouth-watering afternoon tea waiting for you and then relax in the sauna/steam rooms was unbelievably indulgent. We all had the most amazing holiday and we are very grateful for the care and attention given to us during our stay. The hotel is run seamlessly and the effort that must go in to this must be extraordinary. We absolutely would love to return.

We were extremely impressed during our whole stay at the Böglerhof. It started with a friendly and efficient check-in followed by a pleasant surprise at the size and modernity of our room. The staff were all very accomodating and went above-and-beyond in making our stay a memorable one. The food was fantastic and the hygiene arrangements made us feel totally safe. It was no surprise to us that we returned home just as healthy as we arrived. There are so many other positive things I could write (e.g. spa, library, bar), but I'll leave it at that - suffice to say that we are already looking forward to our next visit!
