Direkt neben dem parkplatz vom gipfel braunsberg. Famoser aussichtsberg und unter naturschutz. Beliebt bei modellseglern weil gute termik.
Right next to the parking lot at the Braunsberg summit. Famous panoramic mountain and under nature protection. Popular with model sailors because they have good term skills.

On October 26, 1944, Heinrich Himmler visited Slovakia to see on the spot the reality of the Slovak Germans. He decided on the spot to evacuate the entire German population from Spiš. The next day, its regulation was published and preparations for its implementation began. Fearing for their own lives, the local Germans proceeded without evacuation from Slovakia. After the first transports from Spiš in the autumn of 1944 until the arrival of the front, more than 80% of the Carpathian Germans left Slovakia, which was about 120,000 people. In particular, specially assembled train sets, columns of carriages, and ships delivered in Bratislava were used. The target was mainly the Sudetenland.
