I have been to many indian restaurants so far. The atmosphere in this restaurant is not nice (due to the location), but the staff is super friendly and the food is amazing! So it's a great place for takeaway, but not so nice for spending an evening there.

DoI is a small Imbiss which both delivers and offers meals at the restaurant. The food is AWESOME. We dropped by for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and it was absolutely fantastic- the staff is super nice, their food is super delicious. Will definitely order from again/stop by :)

We had a Thali meal each. Food was very good, and portions are generous. Cost was 17 EU. Service by the son of the owner was excellent. The rave reviews that I read seem a bit exaggerated, but we have not had the chance taste most of the dishes.

I don't want to be too harsh. This restaurant has a 4.9 star rating so clearly they did something good, but for me this was by far the WORST meal anywhere in any couisine ! Ambiance: ok, nothing to boast. Starters: Papad ( you can't go wrong in that) After that it goes downward. Samosa: Potatoes , peas with little salt and nothing else Mango Lassi: ok, but too watery to be called Lassi Dum Alu: Blasphemy ! (Boiled Potatoes with hint of chillies, no gravy). Dal Makhani: Horrible is the word. It was so bad i had to get a dark chocolate to get over the after taste. Service: Below average ( No plates, no salt pepper, had to ask for the basics) On top of it, the owner is not willing to accept that the food is bad, with all Stories about how is rated there best in Vienna ! To be fair, it might be an off day or a change in chef or some other issues, but this one simply doesn't ring INDIAN in any sense to me ( Food, flavor, warmth, hospitality) I am sorry. PS: cafe at Natural history Museum had far authentic Indian chhole curry and Rice. PPS: Dal Makhani is the Standard to judge an Authentic Indian Restaurant serving Food from North of India. If a restaurant can do justice to that, it can do everything right ! Lessons learnt: Skipped Indian meal on the entire Vienna trip :)

If you’re in the mood for Indian food in Vienna, you gotta come here! We had the vegetable samosas, butter chicken, channa masala, and finished with mango lassi. Everything was delicious and the service was great!

Best Indian food I’ve ever had! I used to say that I didn’t like Indian food, but after trying Delights of India I’ve completely changed my mind. I ordered online and the food came on time and very well packed. Fair prices and big portions! Amazing food, it’s so well made! I ordered it “mild” (not spicy) and still it was so tasty. I loved it! I’ll definitely order again.

Really delighted with the samosa's and the Channa Masala I got. Usually we will get a small dip in other restaurants. But for 6.90€ it's really worth the money. The staffs also greeted me well. Probably one of the very good Indian Restaurants outside India.
