Ich komme gerne wieder, wenn ich in Schladming bin! Nice, charming staff and the food tasted excellent. Also recommended for vegans, vegetable gröstl and mixed salad were great! I'll be happy to come back when I'm in Schladming!
J	Jeanette G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir fahren seit über 20 Jahren nach Schladming. Da hat man seine Stammrestaurants bei welchen man weiß, dass das Essen schmeckt. Nun wollte ich mal etwas neues probieren und aufgrund der guten Bewertungen sind wir ins Jägerstüberl gegangen. Schon bei Reinkommen wollte ich wieder kehrt machen. Der Eingangsbereich abgewohnt und mit scheußlichen Kunstblumen geschmückt. Das schlechte Gewissen hat mir die Kehrtwendung allerdings verboten , wir hatten ja reserviert. Das Lokal fand ich persönlich genauso abgewohnt und geschmacklos wie den Eingangsbereich. Eng war es auch. Einen Stern gibt es für den wirklich taffen und netten Ober. Das Essen war bei uns allen (5 Personen), ich weiß gar nicht wie ich das beschreiben soll und nenne es deshalb unterdurchschnittlich und ganz und gar nicht unser Geschmack. Insgesamt für uns ein absoluter Reinfall. Aber das ist alles Geschmacksache und ich beschreibe hier nur unser persönliches Empfinden. We have been going to Schladming for over 20 years. There you have your regular restaurants where you know that the food tastes good. Now I wanted to try something new and because of the good reviews we went to the Jägerstüberl. As soon as I came in I wanted to turn back. The entrance area shabby and decorated with hideous artificial flowers. However, my bad conscience forbade me to turn around, we had reserved. Personally, I found the restaurant just as worn and tasteless as the entrance area. It was tight too. There is one star for the really tough and nice waiter. The food was for all of us (5 people), I don't even know how to describe it and therefore call it below average and not at all our taste. All in all, an absolute letdown for us. But that's all a matter of taste and I'm only describing our personal feelings here.

Im Eingangsbereich angekommen haben wir uns gedacht, dass das Essen dementsprechend sein wird. Auch die Speisekarte ist sehr lieblos gemacht. Hier wurde uns aber wieder gezeigt, dass man nicht nach dem Äußeren gehen soll. Die Kellner waren bemüht und freundlich und als wir das Essen bekommen haben waren wir eigentlich überwältigt. Wir hätten nicht damit gerechnet. Riesige Portionen, die auch geschmacklich ein Gedicht sind und der Preis passt auch! Werde sicher wieder euer Gast sein, vielleicht mit einem veränderten Eingangsbereich... We stumbled upon this place by accident as all the restaurants were fully booked. When we arrived in the entrance area, we thought that the food would be accordingly. The menu is also made very carelessly. But here we were shown again that one should not go by the outside. The waiters were helpful and friendly and when we got the food we were actually overwhelmed. We didn't expect it. Huge portions, which are also a dream in terms of taste and the price is right too! Will definitely be your guest again, maybe with a different entrance area...

Das Restaurant befindet sich zwar im Zentrum von Schladming aber zum Vergleich kostet ein Zwiebelrostbraten im ersten Bezirk Wiens in einem Top-Lokal (Plachutta's Gasthaus zur Oper) 22,80€ und hier 19,60€. Dieser war aber Qualitativ um einiges schlechter. Das Lokal befindet sich außerdem in einem Hotel das auch schon die besten Jahre hinter sich hat, kleiner Pluspunkt die WC-Anlagen sind neu und sauber. Nice staff but the prices are absolutely not justified. The restaurant is located in the center of Schladming, but for comparison, a roast beef in the first district of Vienna in a top restaurant (Plachutta's Gasthaus zur Oper) costs € 22.80 and € 19.60 here. This was a lot worse in terms of quality. The restaurant is also located in a hotel that has had its prime, a small plus: the toilet facilities are new and clean.
