Allerdings sollte man bei digitaler Ausarbeitung unbedingt die mit Korrekturfaktor nehmen, kostet geringfügig mehr. Bei der Basisversion werden die Abzüge so, wie man sie aufgenommen hat. Meist zu dunkel. Bei analog seh ich da kaum einen Unterschied, da passt beides for me the best laboratory, really strong in color and rich in contrast. However, you should definitely take the one with a correction factor for digital elaboration, it costs slightly more. In the basic version, the prints will be as they were taken. Mostly too dark. With analog I hardly see any difference, both fit

H	Harald on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Große Enttäuschung! Wollte die heimische Wirtschaft unterstützen - aber so nicht. Haben ein Fotobuch (3 Exemplare) erstellt und in Auftrag gegeben. Da ich die Bilder mit deren eigener Software (DFS) bearbeitet habe (Ausschnitte, Helligkeit, zT Farbabstimmung), habe ich die Ausarbeitung "ohne automat. Korrektur" bestellt. Das Ergebnis war furchterregend - ein gelb-rot-Stich der einem die Augen ausschlägt. Habe die Bücher wie von CD vorgeschlagen zurückgeschickt. zugleich habe ich screenshots aus der DFS Software gemailt zum Vergleich, wie sich die Buchseiten auf meinem windows-kalibrierten Bildschrim darstellten. Auskunft CD: sie bekommen kein besseres Ergebnis hin, weder mit noch ohne Autokorrektur. Ich solle das Buch neu erstellen. Wegen des ungewissen Ausganges (ich vermutete einen Softwarefehler, denn ich hatte inzwischen auch einen anderen enntdeckt) habe ich das abgelehnt und wollte das Geld samt Porto wiederhaben. CD wollte mich anfangs mit 50% abspeisen und hat erst nach Protest den vollen Preis versprochen. Erhalten habe ich das Geld noch nicht weil CD plötzlich behauptet, man hätte keinen Vertrag mit dem Labor sondern mit der Abholstation (in meinem Fall Firma Bildermacher). Auch wird behauptet, meine Bilder seien mangelhaft (laut software waren sie -bis auf ein Bewußtes- ok). Und schließlich wurde mir vom "Haus-Juristen" von einer Bewertung im www "abgeraten". Die Fotobücher hat CD jedenfalls einbehalten, auf dem Rücksende-Porto bleibe ich anscheinend sitzen. Seriös und kundenorientiert würde ich das nicht nennen... Big disappointment! Wanted to support the domestic economy - but not that way. Have created and commissioned a photo book (3 copies). Since I edited the pictures with their own software (DFS) (cutouts, brightness, partly color matching), I ordered the work "without automatic correction". The result was terrifying - a yellow-red stitch that knocks out your eyes. I returned the books as suggested by CD. At the same time I emailed screenshots from the DFS software to compare how the book pages looked on my windows-calibrated screen. Information CD: you get no better result, either with or without auto-correction. I should recreate the book. Because of the uncertain outcome (I suspected a software error, because I had also discovered another one in the meantime), I refused and wanted the money and postage back. CD initially wanted to give me 50% off and only promised the full price after the protest. I have not yet received the money because CD suddenly claims that you have no contract with the laboratory, but with the pick-up station (in my case, the Bildermacher company). It is also claimed that my pictures are defective (according to the software they were ok except for one thing). And finally, the "house lawyer" advised me against a rating in the www. Anyway, CD kept the photo books, apparently I am sitting on the return postage. I wouldn't call it serious and customer-oriented ...
P	Peter Hausleitner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind mit den Fotobüchern sehr zufrieden. Vorallem mit der "echt" entwickelten Fotobuchqualität! Da sieht man keinen Pixel und keine Linie, es entspricht wirklich einer echten Fotografie. Natürlich auch die Produktion in Österreich und eine Lieferzeit von nur 4 Tagen - machen Glücklich! We are very satisfied with the photobooks. Especially with the "real" developed photo book quality! You do not see a pixel or a line, it really is a real photograph. Of course, the production in Austria and a delivery time of only 4 days - make happy!

A	Alex H. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't know what kind of magic they are using but I sent a particularly brutal photo (in terms of saturated colors) to four different labs (13x18 matte print) and Color Drack was the ONLY one where it was rendered well. All of the others showed clipping in the highlights. In fact, I spoke to one of the other labs and based on their suggestion, I manually converted to the profile of their machine in Photoshop, trying two different conversion settings. One of them was a bit better than the original attempt but still paled in comparison to Color Drack's print. I'd really like to know more about how they're doing this, unfortunately, their customer support is not as excellent as their print quality. I tried talking to them about paper once but on the phone, I was asked to write an email. And when via email, I congratulated their color accuracy but slightly criticized the choice of paper (which is by far the coarsest out of all the labs and swallows details a bit), I never got another response about why they chose that kind of paper, whether they are thinking of switching to another one anyway, etc. It seems to me that they're clearly aiming to capture the mass market, not professionals. Hence, labs geared more towards (semi-)professionals have better customer service, will discuss technical things with you and offer more options. But... to me, what matters in the end is the color accuracy. And Color Drack leaves all others absolutely in the dust in that regard, so I will always recommend them before any other and won't reduce my rating just because of the customer service and coarse paper.
