★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a gem in Salzburg! First, it feels like being in a cave .The ceiling is comprised of this rock/mineral form that has all these brown and burgundy hues. Second, the bartender, and perhaps owner, is incredible. She supplies complimentary snacks. Third, the Austrian wines I have tried (and one German Riesling that was oaked!) are excellent. Gruner Weltliner (one fermented on the skins for a bit), a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Merlot/Syrah/Blaufrankisch/Cab Sauv blend that was lovely. The reds were a bit young and will gain more expression over the next couple years. The music is also quite excellent. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was having a rough night in terms of customer service on a visit to Salzburg. This place changed all of that! The bartender was very attentive and sweet to us! This is on top of the fact that the atmosphere in this bar is very nice. I will visit again next time I come to Salzburg!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A favorite of ours when visiting Salzburg. The barmaid is lovely in all respects and very attentive and personable. The inside resembles a cave cellar with a small bar and a couple of couches in addition to tables. Wine, beer, and mixed drinks.
