The waiter on staff was the rudest person we came across in the week we spent in Austria! The food was good but had limited options on pasta but our entire meal was ruined by the awful service! I am a native German speaker and ordered our meal. He laughed at us for not being ready to order when he came to the table the first time. Not knowing that i speak German, he actually made a joke at our expense to another table. When I ordered drinks for my kids he suddenly didn’t understand and it turns out that he charged us an insane amount of money for tap water and refused to remove the charge. He also tried to double charge us for a glass of wine! The coup de grace came that they do not take credit cards!! Now we are not in a small back town and this restaurant is right by the town center and there was NO SIGN ANYWHERE that it was cash only! Luckily we had our last 50 euros in cash on us! The man was awful and I would suggest everyone stay away from this place!!
R	Roman Simcik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sooooooo long... We've been waiting for our pizzas for over an hour now, and we're waiting still... Our 3 kids have almost finished watching all the cartoons we have. We also ordered still water but received sparkling water. We advised the waiter a half hour ago and we are still waiting for the exchange. My wife's risotto has just arrived (we came 1h20 ago) and the rice is not cooked enough. Even the drinks were long to be had. I expect my kids to become unbearable anytime soon and I can't blame them for that. Epilogue: the pizzas arrived after waiting 1h25, and they were good. But the waiting time is definitely not worth the experience. I don't know if it's related to the kids (I saw a very similar comment below from someone who also ate here with a kid) or to us being foreigners (several people who ordered after us got their meals served well before us) or just bad luck but anyway it falls very much short of what I expect from any decent restaurant. Thus, my wife told me upon leaving, "we'd better have gone to the McDonald's", and I think that's an accurate summary of our evening.

It was just disgusting
S	Susanna Riessland on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pizza is very good for Bad Ischl. They charge 0.7€ for 1/4l of tap water even when you drink something else as well. The restaurant has a new owner and he was weird! Refused to bring us the bill for 15min because he wanted us to stay longer (he actually said that, it wasn't because he had so much work). Kept asking my friend where she lives in Vienna because he knows her (no she doesn't know him). Just weird and uncomfortable.
J	Julia Vötsch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ okay the thing is, the restaurant is newly taken over, so for the food I'd rly give 4 stars bc it's good- when you actually get it. We went here as a group of 23 and we sat at 4 tables- some got their food 1 hour before the others, which would be okay if the tables would get to eat together BUT 2 PEOPLE ON OUR TABLE WAITED MORE THAN 1 HOUR and others got their pizza 15 min later, after we were done they started MAKING their food- the gnocci were too spicy for me, the pizza is good, and the staff is nice but little unorganised, i'd go there again but just alone or with ONE friend
