Camping Wien West - Hüttelbergstraße 80

Camping place is fine to spend the night as you are visiting Vienna. Sanitary is clean and modern. Camping places are big enough. We put our tent in a caravan space, as there was a big group of kids on the tent spot. Good service. Public transport to Vienna centre will take you about an hour.

The best campsite in all of Austria. Attentive and friendly staff. Impeccable facilities. Public transport 10 meters. Wow, the best place to visit Vienna.

A nice camping, with clean toilets and shower rooms. There is a bus stop close to the entrance (called "camping Wien west 2" !) from where you can go to a rail/U station and on to Vienna.

Cheap campsite and decent facilities with good public transport options to central vienna. Our bungalow was very basic though and it stank of cigarette smoke in the room. Kitchen facilities are available in a central building, but no pots and pans or any cutlery, plates, cups for the bungalows, which makes this hard to use. Would not recommend this place.

Clean bathroom.a little noisy - close to a road..but didn.t bother much.we had earplugs We arrived at 8pm. The front desk was closed but the gate was open so we camped and payed next day in the morning. 26 euros for 2 person+1tent+car

Extremely loud campsite, being along a main road. I was camping in a tent, so no chance to escape the noise of the morning traffic sadly. Other than that, the facilities are clean and nice! Conveniently, you can come in at any time, day or night. On the down side, is the staff being not too friendly...

Sanitary is not really good. Toilets are close to the camping but you need to leave the building and climb the stairs to find the showers. Location for washing the dish is next to the toilets which is not really nice. Further, the showers are warm and for free but not made for tall people. I am 195 cm and needed to squad to wash my hair. The showers are not adjustable in regards of the height. The power is very different. Some showers are similar to a waterfall, in others you may be lucky if you don't have to push the button every 2 seconds. Electricity is also bad. Only 2 of 10 slots were activated to use my hair dryer (by the way, there is no hair dryer for everybody. You need to bring your own). Internet is bad, too. Network was overload although I could not see 10 campers during the time I was there (October 2021). Breakfast was expansive for what we could order. Only 2 types of bread was available and they were not fresh. Only done in the oven. Now to the positive side.. Bus station is very close (30 min to the center of vienna with bus and train combination). There are 24 and 72 hr tickets available for 8 or 27€. With the 3 day pass you get some discounts for museums and things like that. The location is fine because it's easy to reach with a camping vehicle but you hear the noises of the floating river and airplanes. However, if you only stay 1 or 2 days, this is a good spot to spend the night very close to vienna center.

This is a lovely campsite... ideal for exploring Vienna: you can take the bus to the U4 metro line. There are lots of trees and it's clean and well maintained. We only stopped off for one night, but I hope very much to go back there again.
