We are thinking if there is a place next few days and the camp is open??? Update: We didn’t get any reply but went there anyway. The camp was really nice and quiet at the time (21-25.1) and clean showers and bathroom. We will be back one day for sure!

The ground to pitch up a tent is quite sturdy but we were fine. Sleeping by the river and listening to nature sounds was great.
J	Jan Kees Schakel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location of the camping is perfect. Nice view on the mountains, waterfall and gletscher. The camping has no fixed places for the guests which makes it bit messy, especially when it is busy. Place your table and chairs before your caravan, otherwise there will be a little tent when you come back at the end of the day. We arrived after closure of the office (closes already at 17.30), so you have to go to the restaurant to sign up. Attention: you have to give your passport to make sure that you do not leave the next morning without paying! I had a big discussion because I did not want to give my passport (officially this is even not allowed). They were very strict: if you don't give your passport you have to leave again! The camping identity card from the Dutch ANWB (which is especially made for this situation) was not accepted: "that can be falsified"! Looking backward, I should have offered to pay e.g. 50 euro instead of giving my passport. Campsite is proper and toilets/showers (free) are clean and heated when it is cold outside.
