★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just ate the Wortner Burger. This is by far the most well constructed burger I have ever eaten. The bun is protected by a layer of lettuce, the onions are sliced very thin, the cheddar is molten onto the beef, and the bacon is crispy. Truly exceptional and delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is meant only for the Café, as I haven't ever had lunch or dinner in the restaurant.
To the café I went several times , mornings and afternoons and I have had good time there.
Outdoors by the fountain, is very nice, especially in the springtime with all the flowers.
I also found the interior (the smoking room) very comfortable and cozy. The place was luminous and quiet in the mornings, one could read, surf, while sipping at a nice wiener coffee.
I never had any issues with the waiters, the service was fast and polite, in fact, I am surprised at the horror stories I read here.
The café is dog friendly, as most places in Austria.
I would recommend to visit, if you reside nearby or want to try the experience of an old Viennese café, far from the touristic center.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been visiting this place for over 10 years and I used to call it my second "living room". It has a beautiful ambiente, but unfortunately the once delicious food is no more. For years I had enjoyed their Kalbschnitzel, which was a good portion, followed by Kaiserschmarrn. This time, as every month, I invited my family once more and spared no expense - only to have received a very aweful Frittatensuppe, the Kalbschnitzel is getting smaller and the Kaiserschmarrn was a patheticaly small portion, totally tasteless and absolutely not the delight of 2-3 years ago. Upon informing the waiter when paying, he made an already uncomfortable situation more so by saying "at least we didnt cause you bodily harm", telling me that the Chief Chef was in the kitchen himself. Was he daunted by the incoming lockdown? Did he not care at all anymore? I am not the person to give bad feedback, but this is the second time the food is no longer what it used to be. I was genuinely sad, I used to love spending my time and money there, but I guess their best days are over. No longer recommend this place for good Austrian cuisine, time to find somewhere new.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this place, very warm and cozy. We had 2 sweet breakfast (melange+croissant and melange+marble cake). The cake was delicious! We paid 5,20€ each. The waitress treated us kindly and we felt very comfy in here.
