★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only go there if you have lots of time and are relaxed. The surprisingly customised the omelette for me! Waiters take their own time to come...so this is not a quick eat n go place. Will visit again if I'm not in rush.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended Cafe. Don't expect to be served right away. Come in, sit down and relax. The waiters will show up, just don't be in a rush. Ordered a Viennese Coffee and one of the city specialties, raisin plum pancake. Delicious and would highly recommend ordering it. Waiter seemed grumpy at first but was fast, effective and with a tip, donned a smile and offered me an extra large glass of water. Will be coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for a spacious place to enjoy an expanded breakfast menu. Many varieties of breakfast items. It is worth a brisk walk to get here! I strongly recommend, if you are tired of tourists traps, small portions, or the same menu items, then come here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very local Vienna Cafe with yummy local coffee and pastries. We love its Apple Strudel and stewed plum & raisin pancake. I absolutely love the Viennese Emperor's Melange - Perfect coffee with some unique liquor favor. Must try if u are around Albertina.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy, viennese authentical place, right in city center. People are reading newspapers here during drinking cup of coffee or glas of local wine. The food is simple and tasty, like at home. Prices are very nice here which is rare in city center. I would fully recommend this restaurant people who want to make a stop during their walking tour and to eat smth. They also have typical viennese desserts ;-)
We will come again for sure! ))

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The coffee wasn't bad, but the food was awful. The crepes were DRENCHED in this gross vanilla sauce that they didn't tell us cost extra. We ordered their specialty and it was also completely drenched in oil. We had to struggle to even finish half of the food, and left feeling miserable. The waiter was very nice though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was definitely the best of all Vienna cafees we tried during our 5 day stay in this beautiful city. Good location in the old centre, very nice and "alt-klassiker" interierour, extreemly friendly and helpful waiters (naturally, one can't pretend or play it), as well as excellent food and "durchgehende Küche" with a diverse menu and different local specialities. We found it accidentially, not following any tourguides or fiakers' advices. We came here several times and highly suggest also to others!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is well-known for its Topfenstrudel which I also highly recommend. The place was calm and almost empty at 10:30 a.m. on a Sunday. Very friendly waiter.
