The good: The best strudel I’ve ever tried. The coffee was good by Melbourne standards. The bad: I have read the reviews below and it seems that people got big portions, mine was quite small though... Another disappointing part was that they are either too busy to help you with the tables, (we were actually told to go find it ourselves) unlike other places, or this is the way they treat tourists: smaller portions and limited customer service. The verdict: I will give them another shot when I’m in Salzburg, hopefully they will fix the service quality issues.

This is a nice, little breakfast/lunch cafe with bakery in the old section of Salzburg. I ate breakfast here two mornings in a row, the food and service were very good. I didn't try any of the baked goods so I can't comment on that, but I would recommend having breakfast here.

I love the staff there as everyone is really nice and also quite fun. Besides: They have the real mozartkugeln, so that's the best souvenir you can get ;)

Excellent Salzburger Nockerl (soufflé) and service. Fair price. COVID certificate required to eat/drink.

Woman with short hair was really unfriendly towards my mother, also no staff was responding to us at the counter when i was about to pay, 2 male staffs were there but they pretend not to see us, at least come and ask what do we want or idk any gestures that is really showing some service or something. So we had to wait for that short haired woman for paying, and she's just passing us twice to other table while we standing still at the counter, not even saying "please wait a moment" or anything, she was legit didn't look at us when we say we wanted to pay and just passing us! Never again i will step my feet here, gave 2 stars because the food was okay

Lovely old-world ambience, fabulous apple and plum strudels especially, and very good brunches. Great for dining in and takeaway too. Nice place - look forward to going back.
