★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy interior with great food and a pleasant atmosphere. The smoker area is in a seperate room and there's absolutely no smell in the non smoker area whatsoever. Not a lot of vegan choices, but the ones they have are really yummi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is definitely loved by locals, and not popular among foreigners. There is no English menu, but English speaking staff is always ready to help. Typical place for having a breakfast or a cup of coffee. The cafe have a menu of a day, which allows to try Vienna cuisine. Don't be surprised by shabby dishes, the place supposed to be very old.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been going, regularly, to Cafe Florianihof (my daughter attends the Musikschule on Skodagasse, up the street and around the corner) and, it's always been good, portions reasonable, and the staff friendly. It's been some months now, since I was there, and it seems to have undergone some changes, and not for the better. The staff was gruff, the soup, although good, was definitely served in a smaller bowl resulting in a smaller portion and the cost was €4, 50. The portion was more like a "cup" if soup, rather than a "bowl." Change is sometimes good, but some things should just stay the same.

Staff is very nice and helpful.
A place which local poets and writers used to visit in the past.
