★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seit Jahren besuchen wir Ellmau und buchen immer unser Abendessen durch(solltet ihr machen, sonst gibt‘s kein Tisch: das hat wohl seinen Grund). Wir können die vorherigen Rezensionen nicht verstehen. Top Service, zackig, witzig, einfach super. Die Gerichte immer wieder auf höchstem Niveau, einfach köstlich und auch reichlich. Vielen Dank Frau Kröll und Team.
 We've been visiting Ellmau for years and always book our dinner through (you should do it, otherwise there's no table: there's a reason for that). We cannot understand the previous reviews. Top service, snappy, funny, just great. The dishes are always of the highest standard, simply delicious and plentiful. Thank you Mrs. Kröll and team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in this hotel with our two kids. The living room with foldable sofa was very small even for the children. The kitchen was poorly equiped with no dishwasher and very limited set of kitchen utensils. And the "best" thing came in the end - the bill. It was 50 EUR more than we have agreed with the lady on the phone and on top of that she cheated us 12 EUR on the local tax. No arguments helped us to get the right price and calling police on Sunday morning was not exactly how we planned to spend our last day of skiing. Terrible experience with no official place to help us (Turismusverband in Ellmau only recommended written communication with the landlady next time). We thought that Austria was a civilized country, not a market place in Marocco. Definitely no "next time" for us here.
