★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been staying at this hotel regularly since 2011. The hotel is a lovely, welcoming family-run and family-friendly hotel. Good food and wonderful service make it a favourite for our family. We'll be coming for many years yet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in the Pension Claudia. Clean and comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast, excellent and friendly staff. Quiet location on the edge of the village. There was a great choice of evening meals in the main hotel (the Hochfilzer) - the food was excellent. Outstanding staff at the Hochfilzer, especially Antonio and Ivan. Finally, thank you to Ingrid for her attention to detail, and for her courteous, efficient and welcoming manner. She will ensure that you have a wonderful holiday. We will definitely return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been visiting the Hochfilzer numerous times since 2002, mainly for the skiing but have also been in the summer. I was unable to go in 2019 with my large party of friends as I was cruising to NewZealand at the time. When i received photos from my friends from Ellmau during my trip, I felt a pang of envy that I was not there having a fun time and being looked after by Ingrid and the team. When Covid is over I will be going back. Do not change anything.
P.s I have stayed in the apartments across the road too and i love the fact that they are decorated in the traditional Austria style plus you have a garden to use, which is extremely useful in the summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed all and every moment we spent in this hotel, from the moment we checked in until we left it.
The room that we got was huge, the food was delicious, the wellness area offers everything you are looking for after a day on the slopes, and above all, the staff hospitality which is unmatchable.
The location of the hotel in the center of the village, 20 meters from ski bus stop, make it very convenient even if you travel without a car or prefer not to use it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really had an excellent stay at this establishment. The staff were all friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about Ellmau and surroundings.. We were made to feel at home, The room was super clean and in good order. We had a beautiful view of the slopes. The breakfast was excellent, good quality and many options on the buffet. The dinner was equally as great with large portions. The Sunday evening entertainment was relaxing and the music was very pleasant. We will definitely be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whether it is the main hotel or pension Claudia I really like this hotel. The staff are excellent, they make sure you are always looked after, and Ingrid is a wonderful host, always about the place. The hotel and pension are really well kept, clean and smart. The pool is really nice too (though I haven't tried the sauna or hot tub). Great value for what you get. Would recommend!
