★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is ok, I guess. Our experience though, was very disappointing.
We had a reservation at 20 o'clock and even though we arrived earlier they gave us a table.
We ordered our drinks, starters and main course.
We had one of the best soups we've ever tasted for starters and then waited for our main which was a classic wiener schnitzel.
We waited for a very long time, and kindly asked the two waiters separately about our order. One said "yes" and the other said "wait a second please" and never come.
People kept coming and they were serving them first, even though our table was in the center of the restaurant.
Funny thing is, after we decided to leave and asked for the check (twice!) they charged us the main courses too! We explained to the waitress that they never brought our mains and after she checked it with kitchen she said she is very sorry and that she thought the other waiter served us the schnitzels.
I told her that I kindly reminded to both of them that we haven't got anything but she only said sorry again.
So we paid for just 2 bowls of soup and left. Shame. Would not go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only came in for drinks and dessert, so can only rate on these two and I will say this place has the best Apple strudel and hot chocolate I have had in Vienna. Service is very friendly and looks to be frequented by locals, so recommend giving this place a go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the Viennese menu, which was delicious, although the schnitzel was not the best I've had in Vienna. Very friendly service, and I liked the old-timey vibe which felt friendly and real, not too posh and snobby like at other cafes in Vienna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a delicious meal with tasty and large, healthy salads at the side. If the friendly waitress hadn't addressed us, we would certainly have missed this lovely place!?Highly recommended for good tasty food and friendly, good service!?
(My boyfriend loves schnitzels and this one is one of the best he had eaten!)
