★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited as part of our klamm visit. The castle is completely ruined and all signs are in German. As a separate visit, you shouldn't bother, but well worth the detour when visiting the Klamm. The Google maps brings you to the Klamm entrance and not the parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lovely place. We wanted to find a nice nature spot to stop on our way from Hallstatt to Vienna and this was perfect. Not far off the main road but very secluded. Nice steep walk through the forest to fabulous view from the ruins
