Definitely worth a visit. If you are lucky the tower is open and you have a great view. Those who take care of the complex are very friendly and like to explain the background story

Seit 40 Jahren wird Windegg von Freiwilligen renoviert und instandgehalten.
Da wird eirklicht tolle Arbeit geleistet.
Very beautiful castle ruins.
Windegg has been renovated and maintained by volunteers for 40 years.
Really great work is being done there.
