Am besten ist die Burg über den südöstlichen Bergrücken erreichbar. Please do not choose the path suggested by Googlemaps, which leads through rough terrain and is not marked. The best way to get to the castle is via the south-eastern ridge.

Mittlerweile besteht Absturzgefahr beim Versuch ins Innere zu gelangen. Schade dass die zuständigen Behörden/Vereine/Besitzer es nicht fertig gebracht haben bzw. kein Interesse hatten, die Überreste dieser einst so stolzen und wichtigen Burg zu sichern und der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen. I was up here 40 years ago as a child. At that time the ruin was still in better condition. There is now a risk of falling when trying to get inside. It is a shame that the responsible authorities / associations / owners have not managed or had no interest in securing the remains of this once proud and important castle and making them accessible to the public.
