★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind vom Parkplatz (Womo-geeignet, zumindest im September) beim Erlebnisburgbau gestartet und waren laut der Karte, die man im Kartenbüro des Erlebnisburgbau bekommt unterwegs. Sehr nette Wanderung! Stadtmuseum auf der Petersburg ist nicht immer geöffnet, momentan Mi bis So.
We started from the parking lot (suitable for Womo, at least in September) at the Erlebnisburgbau and were out and about according to the map that you get in the ticket office of the Erlebnisburgbau. Very nice hike! City Museum on the Petersburg is not always open, currently Wed to Sun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schönes Ausflugsziel, der Aufstieg zur Burg ist etwas versteckt aber lohnt sich. (Aussicht) die Burg ansich ist kostenfrei nur das Museum kostet einen kleinen Obulus.
Nice excursion destination, the ascent to the castle is a bit hidden but worth it. (View) the castle itself is free of charge, only the museum costs a small obulus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Petersberg is in the center of Friesach and home of one of the many castles and ruins in this town. It's a nice walk up there - not too hard and definately manageable for kids. Up there, you get a nice view and can see to all the other casltes and ruins. I wouldn't recommend going to Friesach just to see Petersberg, but since there is a lot to do and see, you should go there and check it out as well.
