Innen im Burg Hof Mauer Reste von Kapelle und der entkernte Pallas und Pallas Stiegenhaus.Das Stiegenhaus war einst der Zugang zu den oberen zwei Stockwerken vom Pallas und zum höhen Eingang des Bergfried. Der Bergfried ist nur noch mit drei Seiten vorhanden. Die Fels seitige Mauer und Eingang sind irgendwann in die Thaya gestürzt. Dadurch ist zu Zugang zum Bergfried nicht möglich. Auch noch im Burghof ist die ehemalige Küche mit Rauchfang und mit ein wenig Klettern der Zugang zu hinteren Teil der Burg mit mehreren Mauer und Gebäude Reste wir auch die Reste eines Wehrturms. Eibenstein castle ruins. First mentioned in a document in 1192. Rock ruin above the river Thaya with well-preserved exterior walls and main gate. Inside the castle courtyard wall remains of the chapel and the gutted Pallas and Pallas staircase. The staircase was once the access to the upper two floors of the Pallas and to the high entrance of the keep. The keep is only there with three sides. The rock-sided wall and entrance fell into the Thaya at some point. This means that access to the keep is not possible. Also in the castle courtyard is the former kitchen with a chimney and with a little climbing the access to the rear part of the castle with several wall and building remains like the remains of a defensive tower.
H	Helmuth Mayrhofer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Auf einem teilweise senkrecht zur Thaya abfallen Felsen erbaut befinden sich die Überreste dieser eher kleinen Burganlage. Die Burg geriet bereits ab dem 16. Jahrhundert mangels Pflege in Verfall. Im 19. Jahrhundert stürzte ein Großteil der Südfront in die Thaya. Dennoch befindet sich die Ruine in einem relativ guten Erhaltungszustand und man kann sich somit auf Entdeckungstour begeben um die unterschiedlichsten Gebäude und Gebäudeteile sowie Mauerreste zu besichtigen. Sogar ein noch relativ gut erhaltener Küchenbau mit zwei Rundbogenöffnungen und einem pyramidenartigen Kamin ist vorhanden. Built on a partially perpendicular to the Thaya sloping rock are the remains of this rather small castle. The castle fell from the 16th century for lack of care in decay. In the 19th century, much of the southern front collapsed into the Thaya. Nevertheless, the ruin is in a relatively good state of preservation and you can go on a discovery tour to visit the various buildings and parts of buildings as well as the remains of the wall. Even a relatively well-preserved kitchen with two arched openings and a pyramid-like fireplace is available.
