★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view from atop of the ruins is absolutely great. It’s a very tranquil setting, where you could just gaze into the distance and take in the cure if the nearby villages. The ruins are also great; it’s labelled to show the significance of the castle and how warfare/defence would’ve been undertaken in the castle and surrounding areas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful views, very good historical markers, lots of lovely history and lovingly restored. There is quite a bit of walking but the paths are good and navicable. I very highly recommend this as a stop. Not overly crowded or touristy. If you want to hike it is free (30-60 mins uphill) or you can pay a few Euro and take the tram.
Block out some time to do this as it should not be rushed...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very interesting historical site even if you’re not a history buff. Has a suspension bridge for the more daring visitor with excellent views of the area.
On site is also a restaurant and hotel. Paid parking on site (08:00 - 20:00, after which parking is free).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful area. The tram ride up was quick. The castle ruins were amazing. The suspension bridge was incredible.
And we did it all in the rain.
