★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine wunderschöne Gegend mit vielen schönen Farben, vor allem im Herbst. Leider ist die Burg nicht zu besichtigen im Inneren. Sehenswert ist es aber auf jeden Fall.
A beautiful area with many beautiful colors, especially in autumn. Unfortunately, the castle is not to be seen inside. It is definitely worth seeing.

Ha una storia antichissima, risale al XII secolo quando era di proprietà dei conti del Tirolo.
Cambio più volte il proprietario, fino a quando subi' un terribile incendio( 1870) che lo ridusse in rovina.
Venne acquistato dall'imperatore Francesco Giuseppe che lo restauro' e lo trasformò in una casa di riposo per militari.
Attualmente è di proprietà di un ordine religioso che lo ha acquistato nel 1965,
trasformandolo in una casa di ritiro per religiosi.
Non è normalmente visitabile.
Ancient castle in a dominant position, surrounded by woods and near a small lake.
It has a very ancient history, dating back to the 12th century when it was owned by the counts of Tyrol.
I change the owner several times, until he suffered a terrible fire (1870) which ruined him.
It was bought by Emperor Franz Joseph who restored it and turned it into a retirement home for the military.
It is currently owned by a religious order that bought it in 1965,
turning it into a retreat house for religious.
It is not normally open to visitors.
