Auf einer Tafel kann man lesen, dass hier die meisten Szenen des Films Der Atem des Himmels gedreht wurden. Der Spielfilm ist eine Darstellung der Ereignisse rund um die Lawinenkatastrofe von Blons im Jahre 1953. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön, das Essen ist gut und die Bedienung freundlich. Der Besuch dieser Hütte bleibt für uns unvergesslich. Very nice cabin in a wonderful area. You have to hike for some time to get here. On a board you can read that most of the scenes of the film The Breath of Heaven were filmed here. The film depicts the events surrounding the Blons avalanche disaster in 1953. The view is beautiful, the food is good and the service is friendly. The visit to this hut remains unforgettable for us.
S	Stephan Baumgart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Martha und ihre Familie sind sehr gastfreundlich. Wir haben 3 Tage in der Ferienwohnung gewohnt, diese war sehr schön und inkl. HP auch günstig. Die Gegend um die Hütte ist definitiv großartig. Martha and her family are very hospitable. We stayed in the apartment for 3 days, it was very nice and including half board also cheap. The area around the hut is definitely great.

Very friendly, with our Käsknöpfle there was a free schnapps, the food was very good, value for money is great. Super relaxed.

Von der Bergstation Sonntag-Stein ist die Hütte in ca. 1h erreichbar. The food tasted excellent. The menu includes everything the heart desires, definitely more than you would expect from a hut. The hut can be reached in around 1 hour from the Sonntag-Stein mountain station.

Übrigens: Hier wird das beste alkoholfreie Weizen ausgeschenkt, welches ich jemals getrunken habe. Wenn wir nicht eine eigene Hütte hätten ,würden wir hier unseren gesamten Urlaub verbringen. We come to the Breithornhütte every year. Mostly by bike. It's just great here, everything is consistent. Martha, your team, the food, the atmosphere. By the way: The best non-alcoholic wheat I have ever drunk is served here. If we didn't have our own cabin, we would spend our entire vacation here.
