R	Rebecca Rodriguez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms were large and nice. Even the small rooms were ample. Shared bathroom, but there was a sink in the room. An armoire was also available. Heaters were available but stuck on a setting and couldn’t get the room any warmer. There wasn’t anyone available at night and there was no hot water or tea/coffee available. If I wanted to put something in the fridge I would have to wait until someone showed up at the restaurant. Easy to get to bus. The old town Salzburg was just across the bridge. My bed broke the last night I was there. It had looked like someone had tried to tape it back together with duct tape to salvage it. The staff - Lukas - has offered me a larger bedroom which was very nice but as it was Christmas Eve no one was available to help move my luggage (would have had to re pack and change floors via the stairs), I just decided to stay put and sleep on the bed. The cleaning woman was very nice and asked if I needed anything like fresh towels. The train station is a bus ride away. Breakfast is offered for an additional charge. No elevator. Bathrooms are clean.
S	Shivi Lal on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good breakie. Okay loacation- 40mins walk from centre or 15/20min bus ride (bus stops either 5min or 9min walk away from hotel. Staff are lovely. Easy enough to self check-in after 10pm- with directions sent via email. A bit 'darker' than what I was expecting-esp the entrance with the 'boutique' cupboards which kinda creeped me out a little. Lol. Room was basic, as can be seen. Did miss having a tea after a long day out. But clean & warm with good self adjustable heating. Shared bathrooms & toilets were pretty decent & I didn't find any issues with having to que up for them(off season). Though I must admit -it was my first & last time I opt for a no private bathroom & shower. I Like my personal space & not needing to take a key with me midsleep to go pee in a hallway loo then freaking out with no staff around to be let into room incase you do get locked out. For the price- can't complain though maybe air bnbs in the area are the same-ish price if not less & closer to the city. So maybe look up your options. Dinning in looks good though, pretty popular with the locals here it seems so try to eat in one night.
M	Mario Mihaljevic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a nice cross-over between a 1970ies guesthouse, and a hip Boutique place. Some rooms seem to have been renovated recently, while others are not yet there. Food is excellent, furniture interesting, and the staff and owner are super welcoming.
t	t p on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've stayed there for a week. Nice and spacious clean room and bathroom. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is always fresh and plentiful. The only thing I might complain of is that the bed mattresses are a bit too soft and worn out. It's very good value for money.

b	braggindad on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this place. Lukas was very personable and met us on arrival very late at night as well as first thing in the morning for breakfast. The room was large and comfortable. Although we shared a bath with two other rooms, we never ran into the other guests. A convenient spot right along the river. An enjoyable 30 minute walk to town. 5 - 10 minute walk to the bus either direction. Breakfast was delightful with simple but good quality food and drink including prosecco for mimosas. The price was right and we felt like the hotel was very nice for the star level.

Near the river but not really with a view, this garden restaurant is a little paradise a few minutes away from the touristy area of Salzburg. Also felt like corona measures were in place. Will be back!

The water pipes in the wall behind our heads while lying on the bed were also not very nice. The breakfest and food was very good. The staff was very nice and hardworking, although I would not wear the hat during breakfest...
