We visited this shop and while standing in the queue for paying, the cashier didn't greet us, didn't say thank you, didn't tell us the amount to pay, or even look at us. The entire time she was speaking to the customer behind us about his dogs because he had bought some 20+ dog food packs.
I believe this was straight out racist because she was assuming we didn't speak German as we're from a South Asian background. At the end I told her that this was unacceptable and all she did was shake her head and say "I did say thanks", which was a lie.
Please train your staff to know that people of a different background could also speak German and to not ignore customers they are serving.
