Vor 2 bis 3 Jahren bekam man am BFI Tirol telefonisch kompetente und ausführliche Auskunft, schnell und unkompliziert. Mittlerweile ist es ein Fiasko. Zum Glück gibt es Möglichkeiten zum ausweichen.

Tut mir leid, ich kann nicht minus Sterne geben. Am schrecklichsten Organisation! Ich habe nur 4 Kurse besucht, aber sie habe mir die Rechnung für 5 gegeben!!!! Denke nicht daran, hierher zu gehen, um zu studieren!!

Immer Termine stornieren oder Termine verschieben weil sie keine Prüfer haben. Sie wollen umbeding Zertifikat haben für Visum aber sie haben keine Prüfungsteam. Ändern Sie dann Gesetz wenn Sie nicht schaffen.

I cancelled a course over the phone with an employee of BFI Innsbruck. After a few weeks I was informed that cancelling via phone is not enough,. The person on the phone did not mention that I also have to cancel in writing and I was charged the full price even though I did not attend course. Make sure you cancel in writing & over the phone so they can't make money on you.

My name is Maria Carolina Carvalho de Oliveira and I am from Brazil, as my husband. We live in a town near Innsbruck (30 km away) since September 2015 and, at the same time, we begun to learn German at BFI School, at A1.1 Course. Since then, we were successful in every course at BFI, and we feel our German has been significantly improving. Unfortunately, we had a great disappointment on last 25.04.2017, as we just finished the A2.3 Course. We did not receive our certificates. The teacher told us today (and not only once prior to today's class) that we could skip her classes only four times, and that we skipped five times. We depend on rides given by another Brazilian couple who took the same course as us, and we skipped 3 times because of the other brazilian woman's illnesses (her husband just warned us that they will skip classes when we have not more enough time to get the bus to Innsbruck, and it takes around 50 minutes). Even so, they got their certificates, and we do not. At the beginning of the class on 25.04.2017, she spoke with another colleague (a guy from Norway) that he skipped her classes more than 4 times. Even so, she ignored his low attendance to the class, and he got his certificate. After that, she helped another colleague (a guy from Somalia), because he also skipped her classes more than 4 times. And he got his certificate too. We did not had the same treatment. Every time when some other student had already missed 3 or 4 classes, she promptly warned them about it, but she did not do the same with us. I have no idea on why she did not allowed us the same treatment, as we had no issues during the whole course. Apart from that, we are rather sad to tell that she only told me and my husband that we would not receive our certificates when she was delivering them to the students, in front of everyone. She told us with undisguised irony, in front of all other students, that we would not receive them. It was so humiliating and embarassing! Some of other students felt sorry about us and I nearly burst into tears. As I said, we have no idea about why our teacher did what she did the way she did. Like every other certificate we obtained from BFI, the A2.3 one was and still is important to us. We feel clearly impaired by what that teacher did to us, from the lack of friendly reminders about missing classes she gave to every other student to the humiliating scene of the last class (on 25.04.2017). Hence I am writing this message to share my feelings because the BFI ignored the way we were treated. They just reforced the point of 75% of attendance at the course. I can understand that, but the treatment. Unfortunately this is the best option around us, and we need the courses to get the Visa. I will continue just for it, but not anymore with the teacher who was arrogant with us. You should stop protecting the teacher and think about more of the students. We are not just money.
