★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die ehemalige römisch/katholische Pfarrkirche von Klaus an der Pyhrnbahn (oft auch als Berg- oder auch Schlosskirche Klaus auf den Karten erwähnt) befindet sich oberhalb vom Stausee Klaus an der Pyhrnbahn. Eine Besonderheit stellt die etwas frei schwebende Krone über der Vollplastik „Jesus tauft Johannes“ im Hochaltar Raum dar. Ein wirklich sehenswerter Ort mit viel Geschichte.
The former Roman / Catholic parish church of Klaus an der Pyhrnbahn (often also mentioned as mountain or castle church Klaus on the maps) is located above the Klaus an der Pyhrnbahn reservoir. A special feature is the somewhat free-floating crown above the full sculpture "Jesus baptizes John" in the high altar room. A really worth seeing place with a lot of history.
