(especially after the renovation in 2019) If you're a on a visit to Graz you should check out this one as there's a lot going on here. Also if you live here it's a nice thing you can do on a Saturday morning. for covering your everyday groceries you might want to go to lendplatz as some things might be a bit cheaper there.

Very sustainable and traditional place. On every corner you will find a different good smell to every type of food you can imagine. They also sell flowers there, If you need some for a special event. If you need to rest you can sit down and get fresh cold smoothies, juices and coffee or hot chocolate. I would recommend to bring either your own bags, backpack or a box to put in your bought items, otherwise you have to waste many plastic bags...and who does that at a farmers market. The market is in the city centre and well connected to public transport, and bike lines. This is for sure a great place for every type of person in every age group.

July 2019 there is reconstruction so the market moved to the other side of the Opera. We were told it's open daily with the biggest market happening on Saturday.
