★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place to stay in the Alps! The owner is super nice, explained everything. Irrsee (the lake) is just 500m by foot, there is a private beach for pension guests and it is lovely! Rooms clean and cosy! Definitely will be coming back to this one!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In July, me and two friends decided to go on a little Alp weekend trip. We did not plan ahead much and this was one of few places in the area that still had available rooms (we have been to Attersee and Hallstatt before). To be honest it didn't look too impressive from the photos, but as it turned out, it was more than we could have hoped for. Our apartment was clean and spacious with no less than 3(!) bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a huge balcony facing a large, sound of music style meadow. Importantly (and not always the case in Austria) the rooms were smoke-free. The hosts were friendly and helpful but not intrusive.
Reading the other reviews about how great it was for families to live on this farm-Pension, I was a bit afraid it would be bustling with kids and animals, but it was all very peaceful, both in the day and at night (the beds were comfy too - not too hard, not too soft). After the delicious breakfast served each morning (farm-fresh eggs), we really enjoyed greeting the well cared for cats, goats and other animals, before heading for a swim in Mondsee and Attersee (Irrsee is walking distance but it is not quite as lovely or colorful as the other lakes).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place good, with beautiful landscapes. rooms standard, breakfast ok with hot iteams. Many animals which was nice. But the lady owner was soo rude, to austrian people she was quite nice but I was a client so she should show some respect and be good...it was very surprising that you come to stay there few nights and she welcomes you this way....?
