Ich habe heuer mit meiner Familie (Frau und 2 Kinder) und einer befreundeten Familie, ebenfalls mit 2 Kindern, dort Urlaub gemacht. Gebucht haben wir die Unterkunft über das Tourismusbüro am Mondsee. Leider kann ich die Unterkunft in keiner Weise weiterempfehlen: 1) Das Appartement, ist nur notdürftig und sehr laienhaft saniert. Die Küche roch sehr muffig und wir mussten das gesamte Geschirr vor dem Benützen Waschen, da es ebenfalls sehr muffig roch. 2) Die Matratzen in den Einzelbetten waren katastrophal. Die Federkernmatratzen quietschten bei jeder kleinsten Bewegung. 3) Wir hatten etwas Pech mit dem Wetter und es war leider kalt. Heizmöglichkeit gab es nur mit dem Kachelofen welcher nur die Vermieter einheizen konnten, aber auch das dauerte leider 2 Tage und auch erst nachdem wir 3x nachgefragt hatten. 4) Von Urlaub am Bauernhof war leider nicht sehr viel zu erkennen. Es gab ein paar Hasen, Katzen, 2 Ziegen und 2 Alpakas. Von mehr haben wir nichts mitbekommen. Uns wurde auch nichts gezeigt, bzw. wurden die Kinder in keiner Weise mit eingebunden. 5) Es sah dort mehr nach Schrottplatz als nach Bauernhof aus. Zumindest wurde ein Großteil des Schrottes ein paar Tage nach unserer Ankunft entsorgt. 6) Die aufgestellte Schaukel war nicht gesichert und unsere Kinder wären beinahe damit umgefallen. Auf unseren Hinweis an die Vermieter wurde nur darauf hingewiesen, dass die Vormieter die Schaukel verstellt hätten. Maßnahme wurde keine getroffen. 1 Stern zusätzlich gebe ich, da mir in einer Pannensituation doch freundlich geholfen wurde. Aber die Unterkunft an sich kann ich leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

This year I went on vacation with my family (wife and 2 children) and a family of friends, also with 2 children. We booked the accommodation through the tourist office at Mondsee. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the accommodation in any way: 1) The apartment is only poorly and very amateurishly renovated. The kitchen smelled very musty and we had to wash all the dishes before using them, as they also smelled very musty. 2) The mattresses in the single beds were disastrous. The innerspring mattresses squeaked with every slight movement. 3) We had a bit of bad luck with the weather and it was unfortunately cold. There was only heating possibility with the tiled stove which only the landlord could heat up, but unfortunately that also took 2 days and only after we had asked 3x. 4) Unfortunately, there was not much to see from vacation on the farm. There were a couple of rabbits, cats, 2 goats and 2 alpacas. We didn't hear anything more. Nothing was shown to us, or the children were not involved in any way. 5) It looked more like a junkyard than a farm there. At least most of the junk was disposed of a few days after we arrived. 6) The swing was not secured and our children almost fell over with it. On our note to the landlord, it was only pointed out that the previous tenant had adjusted the swing. No action was taken. I give an additional star because I received friendly help in a breakdown situation. But unfortunately I cannot recommend the accommodation itself.
