★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Barbara Kreuz wurde im Jahr 1966 zu Ehren der verunglückten Arbeiter die für die Öl und Gas Gewinnung Ihr Leben verloren errichtet. Es wurde aus Teilen eines Förderturmes gefertigt. Das Kreuz ist in der Nacht beleuchtet, es steht auf einen Hügel nördlich von Prottes, es ist weithin zu sehen.

The Barbara Cross was built in 1966 in honor of the casualties workers who lost their lives for the oil and gas extraction. It was made from parts of a winding tower. The cross is illuminated at night, it stands on a hill north of Prottes, it is widely seen.
