★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nette, kleine Bäckerei mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Einige Frühstücksspeisen sind vorbereitet, aber es ist auch anderes möglich. Leider nur ein paar Tische im Freien, schwierig für die kalte Jahreszeit.
 Nice, small bakery with very friendly service. Some breakfast dishes are prepared, but other options are also possible. Unfortunately only a few tables outside, difficult for the cold season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a fan of this little gem tucked away in the 5th. It’s not ostentatious or flamboyant; it’s cozy, simple, and cheerful. What a warm cup of tea on a cold rainy day does to your soul, is what this place does to you when you step inside. It’s like stepping into your favorite grandmother’s kitchen. The ambiance is welcoming and this is reinforced further by the woman who has consistently greeted me with warmth and gentleness.
The coffee is fair trade and the food is made fresh. The selection isn’t endless but it’s reliable and good. During the spring, summer, and fall there is seating outdoors so that you can sip the coffee of your choice and work on your next novel (step aside Stephen King and Elizabeth Gilbert). And when you write that novel be sure to shout out the tiny little coffee and pastry shop in the 5th known as Bäckerei Hafner.
