Nando brought our World War II walking tour to life — a perfect blend of historian and story teller that kept our children enthralled with Vienna’s past. As former Vienna residents, we thought we had a pretty firm grasp of the city and it’s history. Were we wrong. Nando’s historical depth and ability to answer all the minute questions 11 and 8 year old boys could pose, is a testament to his passion for the topic. And, as a family tour, Nando was not only patient, but was able to explain history in a way that our children could comprehend. To this day, our boys still talk about Nando, his facts, and their desire to return to Vienna for another one of his tours.
