Von hier hat man einen grandiosen Blick auf Dürnstein (am gegenüberliegenden Donauufer), und die Wachau, Limitierter Parkplatz vorhanden, Zufahrt von der Bundesstrasse nicht Optimal angeschrieben, Von Wien kommend gleich am Ortsbeginn von Rossatz, Von Melk kommend am Ende. Für Fotografen: eher später Nachmittag , dann liegt ganz Dürnstein in der Nachmittag Abendsonne. Even if you don't use a ferry or camping site you should visit this place. Ruft man bei der, am Steg angeführten, Telefonnummer an, kommt man zu einrm Tonband wo nach der Durchsage die Verbindung abgebrochen wird. Wir sind schwer entäuscht! October 5th, 2020, bright sunshine, 3 ferry boats at the pier, unfortunately no ferryman there!
