★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very nice Xmas market held in front of the Karlskirche. Mostly hand made arts and crafts are sold here along with mulled wine, Punsch and some typical Austrian foods. It feels less crowded than other markets in the center. Extra fun for children is provided by the pen with sheep, goats and piglets in the center. The animals look well tended and have enough appropriate shelter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Met friends here while on holiday. The market was excellent, some great stalls. Had a few hot drinks while soaking in the Christmas atmosphere. The surroundings made this the Best Christmas Market whilst in Vienna. The market is right in front of the beautiful Church.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cosy and fun, lots of handmade arts and crafts for sale, great to buy gifts and decoration. Fun place for children to hangout, the pond during my visit was all dried up and replaced with straw/hay for a Christmas Manger feel. Bought a handmade silver necklace here. Overall time spent here is around 1 and a half hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A vast and crowded Christmas market located in the south side of the city past the Viennese opera. The food and drink options are very good compared to others and facilities for the whole family to enjoy themselves makes it standout. The location is beautiful with another cathedral in the backdrop, a must visit if you're in town in December.
