★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It might be a great place for the locals but as an outsider, I had the worst experience. We decided to sit upstairs under the sky, the table was soaking wet because of the dew. I asked the bartender to make it dry and he gave me some tissues and said "Good luck cleaning it". People sitting by us, laughed at us as if it was something to be proud of to treat a guest like this.
I have also worked in Gastronomy for 6 years as a bartender, and at a very alternative place no less, but I never treated my guests like this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A "build your own meal" eating experience, that takes a moment to get used to, but is quite creative. It sits high up on the 5th floor, with a great view of the city square below and the mountains in the distance. The menu lets you select your own ingredients for salads, pizzas, burgers and pans, which are delivered fresh to your table, along with the sauce of your choice. An interesting option, close to the Opera House, tram station, Old Town and other sights. Recommended if you're open to designing your own meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great view over Graz on the rooftop. You get food and drinks for a very reasonable price and tasty (Don't expect a Michelin star restaurant)! Nice staff as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hanging out in those places since I've been a student. The build-your-own-thing for sets ("Bausatz") are insanely good value.
Drinks are cheap. They'll make money on you staying forever ? instead.
Service is hit or miss, depending on the people on shift, but it's just part of the deal there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location: unfortunately the roof part was closed, which is the coolest at this restaurant. Otherwise I wouldn't go there. Inside it's super crowded and there is not much space left between the tables.
Staff: they were super stressed but tried to stay nice.
Menu: there is something for everyone. I can recommend the Pizzas and the Waffles.
Bathroom: it was nice and I had a lot of space.
