★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I have just started. I have to say, the first impression - it's a very nice place and though not big but with pleasant atmosphere. One feels right from the beginning like among friends. The initial training was excellent : informative, serious and still we had a lot of fun.
Now we are planning to be regulars at ARCO and we sincerely recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great introductory class with Konstantin at the Arco Vienna Club. Along with a little archery history lesson, I learnt how to shoot safely and confidently whilst having FUN ! Its a beautiful little venue with a relaxed and friendly vibe. Being English with very basic German skills, I found no problems understanding and speaking to the instructors and other members. I'm looking forward to going back !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a beginner and had my first introductory Archery lesson with Konstantin yesterday. Not only is he a great teacher who explains quite clearly, but his enthusiasm is truly contagious! After a couple of hours with him, I was able to shoot reasonably well, wich fills me with (a probably unjustified) pride :-) It also left me with aching muscles the next morning, but that's part of the fun! The atmosphere of the club is friendly, the local is nice, comfortable and well equipped, and the prices are extremely reasonable. All in all, I warmly recommend the ARCO-Vienna Club.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great group of people, very friendly, and the training was excellent. The atmosphere was very friendly and there are plenty of English speakers if your German isn't that great. You can shoot for 90 minutes, rotating out periodically, which helps get to know the other people you shoot with. They have both recurve and longbows for rent and can help you learn to shoot one or both types. Overall, lots of fun and very personal training, usually one on one which helps perfect your technique.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed a fantastic first introductury archery course here where I received very good theoretical and practical guidance and advice from an instructor who encouraged getting hands-on experience through self-observant trial and error. Overall the atmosphere I observed so far seemed to be pretty laid back with the archers focusing on fun and enjoyment of the sport rather than meticulous perfection and routine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great club, full of lovely people. Many English speakers (if German is not your strong suit), as well as good beginner lessons and long shooting sessions. If shooting for 90 minutes straight isn't your style either, there is a place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. There are plenty of activities to do other than shooting targets, such as shooting balloons, moving targets, cinema, etc. The club also plans weekend excursions to 3D archery parcours around Vienna, as well as many events and special shooting evenings. It's a great place for archers of any caliber.
