★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Toplocatie voor een skivakantie in de winter of een wandelvakantie in de zomer.
Zeer ruim en schoon appartement op toplocatie in Obertauern / Oostenrijk: 's winters (midden november t/m begin mei) praktisch aan de piste en zomers midden in een prachtig wandelgebied. Erg compleet uitgerust en beheerd door een zeer vriendelijke eigenaresse die goed het midden weet te houden tussen klaarstaan met hulp en je de ruimte geven voor privacy en ontspanning. De berglucht is opvallend schoon en de locatie / accommodatie vrijwel zonder geluid. We zijn dan ook nog nooit zo uitgerust teruggekomen van een zomervakantie.
Zoveel moois op zo'n toplocatie heeft wel zijn prijs: de accommodatie was niet echt goedkoop, maar wel waar voor zijn geld.
Zomers zijn veel omliggende accommodaties gesloten, maar er blijven er genoeg open om boodschappen te doen, uit eten te gaan of even een kopje koffie te drinken: je moet er wel iets meer naar zoeken of even rondvragen want de openingstijden op websites of Google gelden meestal alleen voor het winterseizoen.
Prime location for a skiing holiday in the winter or a hiking holiday in the summer.
Very spacious and clean apartment in a prime location in Obertauern / Austria: in winter (mid-November to early May) practically on the slopes and in the middle of a beautiful hiking area in summer. Very fully equipped and managed by a very friendly owner who knows how to balance between being ready with help and giving you the space for privacy and relaxation. The mountain air is remarkably clean and the location / accommodation virtually silent. We have never returned from a summer vacation so rested.
So much beauty in such a prime location has its price: the accommodation was not really cheap, but it was good value for money.
Many surrounding accommodations are closed in the summer, but there are plenty of them left open to do your shopping, go out to eat or have a cup of coffee: you have to search a little more or ask around because the opening hours on websites or Google usually apply only for the winter season.

We have been annual guests of the Schilchegger family on winter holidays since 2016 and are very satisfied. Great location, well equipped apartments and very friendly hosts. We'd love to come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The apartment building is located perfectly in the village, with access to all ski lifts, ski schools and wonderful views. The apartment il Sole was exceptionally clean and tidy and the perfect size for 4 adults without feeling like we were on top of each other. We were greeted by Monika with a big smile (under her mask!) and she made us feel very welcome and had some brilliant local knowledge of where to eat & drink and buy delicious baked goods. We had an amazing week here and are already looking forward to another visit!
