Love the rooms, staff are friendly and professional and breakfast was delicious. 3 minutes walk to the shopping street Mariahilfer street. Would definitely recommend and would certainly stay here again!

Rapid Antigen Test Upon arrival I was advised I required a negative test to enter of which I did not have(I did not see any information regarding this requirement prior to booking). The lady at reception kindly provided directions for a place that conducted free Rapid Antigen tests the following day so I took the 30 min round trip walk to the test centre only to be told I did not have an "E Card" or "Austrian insurance" so they could not conduct the test. I returned to the Hotel later that evening and advised the receptionist what I had been told. For some reason this was not accepted by the receptionist and she proceeded to book an online appt at the same place and advised me to return and request again so i obliged. As expected I was advised I could not have the test done for the same reasons provided previously. I had now wasted valuable time across 2 days of a 3 day trip trying to get a test carried out. The following day a new receptionist was working and kindly provided me with a Rapid Antigen test kit to carry out myself which I did and the issue was resolved instantly. Breakfast - 07:00 - 10:00 I arrived at breakfast the first morning of my stay at around 09:40 only to find a small selection of deli meat, cheese and cereal. I asked the lady at reception if I could order something hot but I was advised that it was too late. I explained the breakfast timings and that I still had 20 minutes before closing time. She advised me they only make breakfast for the number of people present to which I told her I had paid for breakfast as part of my booking and I was indeed staying at the Hotel ??‍♂️ Eventually the young lady obliged but I felt uncomfortable at this stage for asking repeatedly. It's not what you want first thing in the morning. Bizarre confrontation I arrived back at the hotel yesterday evening and greeted the two gentlemen at reception a good evening. I proceed to the kitchen area to get a quick snack after a day of exploring. As I turned, the elderly gentlemen was literally running towards me speaking his native language and ushering me out of the kitchen area with the younger gentlemen saying "we are closed." I tried to advise them both that I was staying at the hotel and just wanted a snack from the self service area. At this point the older gentleman was invading my personal space to the point where I anticipated he was going to put his hands on me. I left the self service area and proceeded up the stairs to my room at which point I think the older gentleman realised I wasn't trying to Rob the place and was actually a guest. He apologised. Cleaner I was using the toilet facilities in my room when the door to the room opened. I advised the cleaner I was using the toilet and she apologised and shut the door. There was no knock before entry. All in all I feel I have wasted a lot of money staying at this hotel and was let down or left disappointed multiple times. I chose this Hotel based on the good reviews but can honestly say based on my experience I would not stay here again or recommend to any friends or family.

I have never comment something negative about a place, but this one was really disappointed. The staff was extremely rude with us. Austria is in lockdown and we have problems with the booking. They did not give us a solution, we wanted to talk with the manager several times and they did not let us. I thought that COVID make the people more supportative with each other but I could not see that in this Hotel. However the breakfast was poor, they do not care about the comfy of their guest, just money. That is a shame! Austria is a wonderful country to deserve a treat that we had ☹️

The hotel has a great location, super friendly staff and good breakfast. There is a parking garage nearby where you can leave your car for the day for about 16 eur. Things to improve: morning coffee and towels.

Very characteristic hotel, wonderful place, very central. The new generation equipment structure and every comfort. The accommodation is clean and all anti-covid measures are taken precisely. A special note should be made to the welcome given to us by the Manager, a very kind and extremely helpful guy, with impeccable manners. Each structure should have a person with its own level of professionalism and grace!

Like my rating on booking.com, the hotel has a pretty great location and genuinely friendly staff. Only problems we encountered were with the room temperature and size, but it’s still definitely value for money.

Abusive Hotel policies during lockdown. Notified them 2 times that I want to reschedule the stay due to Austrian lockdown. The response "Sure, don't worry we will work something out" .... After second call with them, they decided to redraw the total amount without even letting me know. This is the mentality of Hotel Apollo.... putting their foot on the the client's throat.

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights and really enjoyed it. The room was clean and confortable and most of all, the breakfast was amazing with a lot of homemade cakes, pies, quiches,... All the staff were very nice. I would definitely stay there again.
