★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amerika-Holzer has been our annual vacation destination since 1999. Our whole entire family (3 generations) look forward to this as it is pure relaxation, pleasure, and enjoyment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being american one needs to get used that room price in Austria is not room price but price per head per room. The is quite strange.
Hotel facilities are just great. Sauna, pool, warm lake. We stayed in the new part of the hotel and this was just divine. Take the lake view it is really worth it.
Dinner levels up to a Michelin Star experience, despite that if you have this each evening it gets too rich. So we asked for a tailored main course and they did it without any problem for us.
Perhaps a few different brands of Gin and a few un-cill-filtered Scotches could be added. But beside this a place like in paradise.
As a special surprise for my wife's birthday the owners took us out one night for dinner to Sicher restaurant nearby. Seems to be one of the best diners in Austria. Let me assure you, it was a life-time experience as well.
10 days there have been too short for doing all what we wanted but we will come back for sure again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother actually works at the hotel and it is wonderful. There are special activities for kids ex. Ponyriding, Visiting a fun park or Just playing football together. There is a very beautiful "beach" with a pool + indoor pool and a bar(also drinks with no alcohol) and a fitness studio. Basically it is just the perfect place to visit with your family.
PS. Dogs are also allowed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our room has a beautiful lake and mountain view from the balcony and I just love it! The service is prompt and friendly from arrival right through to our dinner service. Although this is our first day here, the experience is very positive.

Forest surroundings and wild nature.
Historically old and strong family-run hotel traditions.
Warm, friendly and a very well-trained staff.
Large, clean and comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need.
Tasty food and good restaurant service.
The Sammers is the REAL FAMILY! Their attitude to even very small details makes the hotel one of the best within Austrian lake hotels.
That is the hotel where you want to come again and again!

Take half board, their dinner is just michelin star level!
