★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great experience. The whole complex in and around the castle is beautiful. It also has one of the world's oldest museum of armory. Great view of the mountains across the valley as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting castle just outside of Innsbruck. It has an interesting collection of curiosities, an armory and lots of paintings. Wouldn't say it's a must visit but it has good explanations of family trees and history of the castle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The castle had many pieces of art, and historical pieces throughout the castle, also there were 3 Male, and 2 female peacocks roaming the grounds. That are part of the traditions of royalty in the old times. Plenty of places to take great selfish, also there is a café on the grounds and a cool souvenir shop. Great place to learn about history. All the thousands of placards on each item is in Deutsch and English so you could read on the history of each item. Alot to see in the castle. Have your comfy shoes on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice castle with extensive armory, an ecpectic wunderkammer, and a portrait gallery. Most art and artifacts are late Renaissance to early Modern period.
Highly recommended for history enthusiasts in Innsbruck.
