★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is lovely at any time of the year, but is especially lively on a hot day in June. It was a Saturday and the old market is just packed with both locals and tourists. Although there are a few stalls in the centre of the square, it doesn't really have an old market feel to it. Don't get me wrong, there's some fantastic shops, restaurants and cafes around the square and generally, it's a great place to have a drink and watch the world go by.
Don't be tempted to buy the Mozartkugel from the market though, it's much much cheaper just to buy it from a supermarket.
