Magnificent views of the Salzkammergut and the Hohe Dachstein! Cozy mountain hut! Ideal overnight accommodation along the Dachstein hut circuit. Downside: Only cold showers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super freundliches und hilfsbereites Team auf der Hütte. Ich hatte Probleme mit meiner Ausrüstung, der Chef Christoph hat mir sehr unkonventionell geholfen, Ersatzausrüstung besorgt, somit war ein Traumhafter Winteraufstieg auf den Dachstein möglich. Vielen Dank noch einmal. LG Bernhard
Super friendly and helpful team at the hut. I had problems with my equipment, the boss Christoph gave me very unconventional help, got spare equipment, so a fantastic winter ascent to the Dachstein was possible. Thank you again. LG Bernhard

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super place to stay when you want to go to Dachstein. The staff is very kind and helpful. They offer very good comfort for sleeping over and food as well. I liked the place a lot!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a nice walk from the Wiesberghaus (took uns 1:45h with a short break) we arrived at the Simonyhütte. The view is amazing and the offered drinks and food looked fine. We only had some refreshing drinks and afterwards visited the beautiful chapel (Dachstein Kapelle).
By accident, the delivery helicopter was coming, so we got a very nice chopper experience as well. Everything needs to be brought there by helicopter, so the prices are a little bit above average but fully ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately the food was very poor. People were friendly. Toiletts more than digusting and the no paper towels at all for the whole time. Shower didn't really work. The view was amazing though.
