Alpenhotel Ramsauerhof

Wir (Pärchen) waren Mitte März zum Skiurlaub im Ramsauer Hof. Erstmal zum positiven: Es ist sehr zentral, wenn man zwischen den Skigebieten Switchen möchte. Die Zimmer und das Hotel an sich sind sauber und es sind ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten sind auch vorhanden. Leider ist der Pool sehr kalt und die Sauna zu klein für die Menge an Gästen und hat Keine Möglichkeit zum umziehen, so dass man mit Bademantel durchs halbe Hotel muss. Wir hatten Halbpension. Das Frühstück war einfach, aber ausreichend. Leider ist am Tag unserer Anreise der Koch ausgefallen, so dass aus der Wahlmöglichkeit am Abend ein vorgestürztes fertig Essen wurde. Auf eine Nachfrage von mir am ersten Abend, ob ein Wiener Schnitzel nicht eigentlich Kalb sein müsste, wurde ich nur angemacht, dass das dann dabei steht. (War mir neu). Anscheinend ist meine Frage sauer aufgestoßen, weil wir fortan wie Luft behandelt wurden und am letzten Abend angemeckert, dass uns das Essen ja eh nicht schmeckt und wir die regionale Küche wohl nicht kennen, da man das dort so isst. Ich hab Verwandte in Österreich und liebe die regionale Küche, aber das fertigessen dort hatte nichts mit der leckeren österreichischen Küche zu tun. (Es gab 3 Tage hintereinander Schnitzel mit Pommes) Ich hätte über alles hinweggesehen, wenn wir wenigstens nett und freundlich behandelt worden wären. So, kann ich es beim besten Willen nicht weiterempfehlen, außer man sucht nur eine schlafmöglichkeit und isst wo anders.

Great food, super clean, lovely pool and sauna

Rooms are nice and clean. Dinner and breakfast were everyday good. To bad you could only pay with cash if you stay less then 5days

The hotel is situated in the beautiful environment of the zillertal. The room is spacious and the food decent. The personell is friendly. The hotel has one big disadvantage: it is located next to a very busy road and the noise in the hotel room (as there is no airco in the room it is necessary to open the window) is really unacceptable. If you come for a quiet place, this is definitely not the one for you!

Maria Louise and Margaretha (apologies if spelling is wrong) are so welcoming The rooms are pristine We had our own family table each morning and evening. The food was great: we really appreciated the simple home cooking made with fresh produce. On one of the busier evenings they even opened up the smaller bar area for us and a few other guests we became friendly with On one evening they kept dinner for 2 of us delayed getting off the mountain. Most impressed. We hope to be back.

This hotel hit just the right note for us. The rooms are spacious and the food is superb. Some of the rooms do face or onto a fairly busy road but none seemed to be complaining so I guess the double glazing did it's job. The owners and their staff are fantastic. The ski bus stops right outside the boot room.

Fantastic stay. We were greeted late at night due to a delay to our flight. We each had a plate of food waiting for us in our room and everything was laid out for us ready for the morning. Breakfast was good and enough of it to get you through a good day’s skiing. At breakfast you chose what you would like for supper from three main dishes. The ski bus stop is right outside the hotel entrance. We took the H2 each morning. Dinner is fantastic with soups loads of breads cold meats and then what ever dish you chose from at breakfast. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The pool and relaxation area are very clean and welcoming after a long day. We really enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be back in the future.

The service is very kind, the owner cares a lot about every guest. The food is ok, but there vegetarian options are worse. It's quite and clean. The cleaning service does duvet origami everyday which is nice and much fun discovering for kids.
