★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nach Ankunft wurden wir die erste Halbe Stunde ignoriert, danach dauerte weiterhin alles lange und kam nicht gleichzeitig für alle... Speisekarte für Ortsnahe Lage sehr kurz und mir fehlt ein bisschen die Tiroler Diversität. Aussicht ist halt sehr schön
 After arriving we were ignored for the first half an hour, after that everything continued to take a long time and did not come at the same time for everyone ... Menu for local location very short and I miss the Tyrolean diversity a bit. The view is just very nice

The Wiesenhof is a great vantage point over the rear of the Zillertal. To be reached on foot, by bike, by alpine skis, by touring skis and paragliding. Apple strudel 1A

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 Sterne für den tollen Blick in das Tal. Ein weiterer für die bemühte Bedienung, die zur Stoßzeit gegen 14 Uhr gefühlt alles alleine gemacht hat.
Leider haben wir eine 3/4 Std. gewartet, bis wir unsere Bestellung aufgeben konnten. Dann kam nach einer halben Stunde das Wurstbrot und eine weitere 1/4 Stunde später der Kaiserschmarren. Das war nix.
2 stars for the great view of the valley. Another one for the hard-working waitress, who felt like doing everything on their own at rush hour around 2 p.m.
Unfortunately we waited 3/4 hour before we could place our order. Then after half an hour came the sausage bread and another 1/4 hour later the Kaiserschmarren. That was nothing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot for lunch on your way down the Ahorn mountain after a half day skiing. Ahorn is a small area in the Maryhofen range so half a day is enough unless you fall asleep on the deck chairs outside the famous 'White Lounge' ice bar.
Alpengathof tucked away off the edge of a piste was so quiet we thought it might be closed. However a friendly freuline quickly appeared and led us out to a sunny terrace tucked away at the rear of the building.
The Schmeisercalm (don't think I've spelled that quite right) which is an Austrian speciality of sweet pancake fritter came with a choice of apple or cranberry sauce. It was both very filling and delicious. Would definitely visit again if I ever return to Ahorn.
