Essen ist durchschnittlich und, wie in solchen Lokalitäten üblich, leicht überteuert. Bier+Suppe=12€ Mountain inn in a great location with views of the glacier and the Grossglockner. Service and service is well organized. Food is average and, as usual in such localities, slightly overpriced. Beer + soup = 12 €

Nachdem man sich beim Abstieg extra beeilt hat um zeitig gem. der Öffnungszeiten bei der Alm einzutreffen, wurde man trotz einer Ankunft um 16.35 Uhr (Bis 17 Uhr ist geöffnet) nicht mehr bedient mit der Aussage, dass man pünktlich um 17 Uhr ins Tal fährt. Auch die Art der Kommunikation war sehr unfreundlich. Gastfreundschaft wird klein geschrieben. Alm not recommended. Wir saßen im Hochsommer bei bestem Wetter auf der Terasse und hatten eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf das Alpengebirge rund um Kaprun und Zell am See. Schon alleine für die Aussicht lohnt es sich dorthin zu "wandern". Wobei man hier auch nicht wirklich weit von der Seilbahn aus laufen muss. Abgesehen von der Aussicht, kann man auch die Speisen und das nette und zuvorkommende Personal nur weiterempfehlen. Und für uns Hundebesitzer ist es immer schön, wenn man sich mit Hund willkommen fühlt. One can only recommend the Alm. In midsummer we sat on the terrace with the best weather and had a breathtaking view of the Alpine mountains around Kaprun and Zell am See. It is worth "hiking" there just for the view. Although here you don't really have to walk far from the cable car. Apart from the view, you can only recommend the food and the nice and courteous staff. And for us dog owners, it is always nice when you feel welcome with your dog.
