Fast and kind service. Good food. You can find free sun cream in the toilet for your. Blankets and pillows on the outside terrace.

This place offers a wide variety of high quality snacks as well as meals and drinks. The view is incredible, especially in good weather. Also great is the option of sitting outside. The prices are rather expensive but all in all this place is definitely worth a visit!

After a decent 2 hour hike with our two boys, we stopped in here for some food, we had the Goulash which was pretty good and well presented. The atmosphere inside was cool with other families hanging out and relaxing. It was when we went to pay that it all went a little weird, we politely asked for the bill in German, when the young male waiter came to us to present the bill, we offered him our bank card, he very bluntly and rudely said that the restaurant only accepts cash, the conversation went like this: waiter: we only accept cash us: well, we only have a card, how can we pay? waiter: we only accept cash, you should have checked before you sat down and ordered food us: we didn't see it written anywhere waiter: its written on the door on the way in N.B. (its not, or at least if it is, not on the main door where we entered) us: ok, well I will have to go and get cash from the ATM (which entails a long trip down the cable car and a drive to the ATM) waiter: you really don't have cash us: yes, really The waiter then snatched the card from my wifes hand and walked off only to return 30 seconds later with a chip and pin machine. us: so you do accept card, you have the machine? waiter: yes, we have it for people like you! us: you mean... for paying customers so they can pay? Summary, the food is pretty good but don't expect a respectful service if you get the young waiter we had, and... they do accept card, I guess they just don't like paying card fees or TAX :)

I suggest that you park at the lake, walk clockwise round till you come to the lift. After a short panoramic ride in a Gondel or Open Lift step into a modern mountain Inn. The views from the panoramic terrace are great. Inside it's traditional Alpine. The service is exceptionally good, friendly, quick and well organised. We were a group of 22 , with diverse dishes... All of us were satisfied. This place has also lots outside for children to see ( rabbits , waterways ) and do. Highly recommended.

3 of 5 dishes where served, but no cutlery. Later 2 dishes where served and we got the chance of getting forks and knives. Meals where not very well and not that warm. Had them much beter 30% cheaper. Great view on the Mountain.

Can't wait to go there again. My favorite restaurant. Food is great, service is even better!

Having been around Austria all my life unfortunately this kind of "alm" I hope not to get standard. Of course mass of tourists have to be served but if it ends like this it's nothing more then a highway rest place... Nothing special (except the nature around). Food is under average. Kaiserschmarrn very dry. Gulasch served in a nice glass but content (beside the soup) is too less. Obviously there is not much choise for you if you are with your children at the kids paradise (no question, playgrounds around almzeit are perfect) so it's easy to make some money this way...
