★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir hatten einen außergewöhnlich tollen und lustigen Abend im Restaurant Almluft mit 10 Personen. Das Essen war super. Auf all unsere Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Sogar eine extra Anlage wurde organisiert, um unseren Musikwünschen nachzugehen. Ein ganz großes Dankeschön richtet sich an den Chef des Hauses und unsere Kellnerin Maria, die unseren Abend zu einem der Besten seit langem gemacht haben. Anschließend waren wir noch bei Beleuchtung Rodeln vor Ort. Der Abend und gleichzeitig Geburtstag hätte nicht besser werden können. Und für alle, die gerne mal einen Abend/Tag nach dem Motto „typisch Österreich und weniger touristisch“ verbringen wollen, seid ihr dort genau richtig!
 We had an exceptionally great and fun evening in the Almluft restaurant with 10 people. The food was great. All of our requests were met. Even an extra system was organized to accommodate our music requests. A very big thank you goes to the head of the house and our waitress Maria, who made our evening one of the best in a long time. Afterwards we were still on site with lighting tobogganing. The evening and birthday at the same time could not have been better. And for everyone who would like to spend an evening/day according to the motto "typical Austria and less touristy", you've come to the right place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place. visited in Jan 19 and wasn't inspired to get the snow chains when renting the car. We had snow almost continuously for the whole week, except the Friday before we left. Had dinner once at the restaurant which was pretty good. You need to get prepared with snow chains, as if it snows in the valley, the way up there is impossible without them. Host was ok, even helped with their vehicle when some of us weren't able to make it to the accommodation. Everything positive apart from the fact that you need to take off the laundry before you leave. Come on! we're paying for some services, don't ask your guests to do hotel services on holiday!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not only a restaurant also a pension. Very nice place up on the mountain. In the village everything was green but up on the mountain we are have a beautiful white Christmas. Skiën in Kaltenbach is very good. We are with a big group with kids. There are a lot of km of pistes. The grandparents love the scenic walking routes.
