★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've ordered a Gyros mit Käse (with cheese).
Considering what I've received as food, it smelled and looked good, tasted 'okayish', but if you call that gyros I have some bad news for you.
Let me give you some constructive criticism:
- putting a slice of cucumber in sour cream does not make it tzatziki
- as for vegetables, the original greekish gyros only contains raw red onion and raw tomato, in Central Europe also the following are used in addition which is acceptable: raw red cabbage, raw carrot, raw lettuce, raw cucumber; BUT sour cabbage is definitely not part of that
- the meat is not supposed to be fried in oil
- bacon does not go into the meat
- on a plate you either use fries or rice as a garnish NOT BOTH
- you either provide a pita or not, but definitely not a slice of white bread

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was fresh and seasoned perfectly. The vine leaves were freshly prepared prepared paired with a well balanced tzatziki.
The gyros meat was smokey and tasty, with some pieces crunchy, the meat was accompanied by freshly fried crisp fries, rice and more of the yummy tzatziki.
Finally the baklava was freshly prepared and topped with light sugar water and tons of freshly ground nuts. The perfect level of sweetness to enhance the nuts and the crispy layers of butter pastry.
